I ride by this building every morining on may way to school. I watched it slowly form and today I watched it smolder in ruins. It is almost sad, yet I can not figure out why. The building was incomplete and no one was harmed but I feel a real sense of loss.

A recent survery was done asking Americans what their five freedoms were. It turned out that only 1 in 1000 could answer this question yet 22% can name all five Simpsons characters. Can you? You might ask yourself why this is important. The truth of the matter is knowing your five freedoms is not as important as knowing how they are being taken away from you. I recently attended a speech on the Patriot Act. I learned that many of our rights are being taken away because of this. The Patriot Act allows goverment officials to tap in to my phone, computer, and personal life if they feel I am a threat. Yet ask yourself how many terrorist have been caught from these tactics. Neither you nor I can go on to the internet and learn about Islalmic religion with out the threat of being watched. This truly does happen. For more information about the ACLU click here.

The mouth of the creek opens in to the Spokane river. At the mouth is a road and a bridge that you can take back to were you came from. The road is much eaisner than the "short cut" my brother and I took. Along the road is Deep Creek Overlook, this is the view you can see from there with the Spokane river in the distance. My brother and I went to Deep Creek near the ORV park here in Spokane to take pictures. As it turns out I just learned to walk. I had quite the fall gettin down to the creek bed infact I fell in front of two cute guys out hiking and taking photgraphs. Everything was quite beautiful if only the sun had shone....
